Range PracticeI get new clients who have never fired a pistol or revolver and are a bit unsure on handling a firearm their first time. I use to offer a first time free visit as my guest to the indoor range, but Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, I'm not able to offer this opportunity at this time.
AMMO Pickup Fees:To help the pain of California's restriction on purchasing AMMO on line, I keep my fees reasonable.
$10,00 transfer fee, plus $5.00 in increments of 1000 rounds. If you purchase 1010 to 2000 rounds, the fee is $15.00. etc, etc... NOTE: The transfer fee is for the new DOJ Ammo DROS check. |

If you are interested in getting your CCW, you have a few choices.
- If you live in the City of Modesto, you can go to the local Modesto Police Department, go up to the large window area on the first floor and asked for a CCW application. All the fees and instructions are on the application. Where it ask you why you want a CCW, you only answer is "For Self Protection". Fill it out and call the contact number on the application to schedule an appointment. From there, they will set up the process with the investigator and keep you posted.
- If I'm correct, you can go online and apply through the Sheriff Department in you county. Fill out the online application and its my understanding they will contact you to setup an appointment with their investigator.
